Thomas J. Clay, D.P.M.
Dr. Clay was born in Toronto, Ontario,
Canada. He moved to Grand Rapids and graduated from Aquinas
College in 1971 where he received a Bachelor of Science Degree
majoring in Biology. He then received his Doctorate in
Podiatric Medicine from the Illinois College of Podiatric
Medicine in Chicago. Dr. Clay then completed a surgical
podiatric residency at Park Community Hospital in Detroit,
Michigan and entered private practice in Grand Rapids in 1977.
He is a Diplomat of the American Board of
Podiatric Surgery and is Board Certified in Foot and Ankle
surgery. He also has a fellowship in the American Academy of
Podiatric Sports Medicine and the American College of Foot and
Ankle Surgeons. He is an active member of the American
Podiatric Medical Association and the Michigan Podiatric
Medical Association.
